The 2012 New York Auto Show has been witness to debut the new 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek Crossover that displayed in the U.S. public. The Japanese automaker at that time seemed eager to launch this new Crossover. The All-New Subaru XV Crosstrek uses the same platform with the Impreza. The Subaru engineers have worked hard to create a strong body and chassis for this crossover variant such as, changes in the ground clearance height to be 8.7 inches.

As stated by Autoblog, The new 2013 XV Crosstrek crossover will be present with a 2.0-liter Boxer four-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual and CVT transmission that capable of generating 148 horsepower. Meanwhile, the new crossover model uses all-wheel-drive configuration that offer better traction in all weather conditions.

The 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek also comes with independent suspension systems on all four wheels that have been developed better than the Impreza models. This means that this new crossover has a cruising off-road capacity. Subaru automaker also explained that this crossover variant has lower fuel consumption than the vehicle with all-wheel-drive configuration on the automotive market today.

The new 2013 XV Crosstrek variants will come with two models, available Premium and Limited models. The Premium models will be fitted with some features, including Bluetooth, streaming audio, security systems, power windows & keyless entry, USB & iPod control and steering wheel with telescopic system (integrated with audio controls).

As for the Limited models, the new Crosstrek XV will be equipped with some interior features like the, cabin heater systems and wiper with de-icer (you can use during the winter). Both models can be ordered with options like the, moonroof and 6.1-inch touch screen that can also be as a tool because it connecting to the parking lot behind the camera as well as the navigation systems.

The 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek will be sold starting at $21,500 (estimated base price).
