2013 Acura ILX Release Date and Price

After displaying the two concept cars at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, Honda announced it has started production for the 2013 Acura ILX Sedan at its plant located in Indiana (Greensburg, United States).

Before starting mass production, the Japanese automaker has made celebration production for the new 2013 Acura ILX. Some Honda executives and society partners as well as the selected officials attended the celebration.

Honda's luxury car division has a good reputation. So, we are very excited because the production stage have already commenced in our factory located in Greensburg, Indiana. Said June Nishimato, president of Honda Manufacturing of Indiana.

Meanwhile, the 2013 Acura ILX Sedan produced at Honda's plant in Indiana are available three engine options, including the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 150 horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with six-speed manual transmission that can produce 201 horsepower and the latter comes with a Hybrid models 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine.

All variants intimately associated with all Acura customers in the European and U.S. markets. For the all-new Acura models, is expected to become a benchmark Honda sales in Europe and U.S. markets in the future, "said Nishimato.
